Using
Autumn colors, you will need 3 fabrics:
Muslin
Dark brown print or plain
Bright Autumn print
Make two 4-patch blocks from 2½" squares
of the brown and the muslin.
Make two 4½" half square triangles from the muslin
and the bright Autumn print.
Arrange and sew according to the diagram
Your block should measure 8½", including the seam allowance
