You
will need:
4 Light 5" squares
4 Dark 5" squares
Any combination of colors.
This is a good time to use up some
of those stray 5" charm squares.
Pair them up, a light and a dark, right sides together.
Draw a diagonal line on the light squares.
Stitch ¼" on either side of the line.
Cut apart on the line.
Press to the dark side, Figure 1.
Square them up to 4¼", then arrange into 2 blocks, Figure
2.
Don't make them identical.
